I am developing this website and related social media accounts to better communicate with you and your neighbors, your friends, co-workers and anyone else who cares, about the upcoming elections and the issues we have to address. Issues regarding luxury homes and affordable housing, traffic and new development, public works infrastructure like landfills and wastewater treatment facilities, housing the housing insecure and protecting our natural resources and access to them. We have to get to work if we want to protect Kaua'i!

JT4Kaua'i: A Vision for Our Future
My name is Jimmy Trujillo and I am seeking your support to represent you and your family’s interest on the Kaua’i County Council and to ensure that your voice is heard when important decisions are made.
The next council will have to address Kaua’i’s’ housing crisis and the urgent need for upgrades to our public works infrastructure: new wastewater treatment facilities; a materials recovery facility to increase recycling and waste diversion from our landfills; maintaining our parks, beaches and open space; protecting & increasing access to our natural resources.
Since moving to Kaua'i in 1999, I have been employed and engaged in various professional and personal roles, working with our youth and their families in building community & capacity. As a volunteer with KKCR-Kaua'i Community Radio's Public Affairs program team for over 20 years to working with DoE students at each high since 2001 I have been involved and engaged with our community on multiple fronts and am truly blessed to call Kaua'i home.
From CRB to traffic and overtourism, we have work to do!
